2nd Annual ‘Check Me Out’ Cancer Awareness Campaign

#CheckMeOut is a cancer awareness campaign, aiming to raise awareness through the younger generation of the importance of checking your body for any abnormalities or other warning signs relating to cancer.

The official launch of the campaign will take place in The Martello, Bray on Friday 15th November at 7pm.



Our annual Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 23rd November from 10am-1pm in the Little Flower Hall (beside Holy Redeemer Church Bray)

Stalls will include Home baking, Crafts and Christmas Gifts!




Bray Cancer Support Centre is taking part in Dun Laoghaire Social Inclusion Week 2013, which takes place from 12th – 19th October.



Bray Cancer Support is delighted to announce that it has acquired a new vehicle dedicated to the provision of patient transport.  Last year, Bray Cancer Support volunteers provided over 640 patient transport trips to help cancer patients attend treatment.  Today’s announcement means that we will be able to meet the demand of those who require assistance attending hospitals and clinics during their illness.



Newstalk presenter Pat Kenny visited Bray Cancer Support today to lend his support to our new campaign to purchase a car for patient transport to and from hospital.

In line with the report’s findings, Bray Cancer Support has experienced an unprecedented demand for its professional support and information services



Cyclists from all over Wicklow and Dublin are invited to join Aoife Heffernan & Daniel Sheridan on the first leg of their Bray to Paris Cycle Challenge in aid of Bray Cancer Support Centre.

On Saturday 31st August 2013, Aoife & Daniel will set off from the Martello Hotel, Bray on the 600km cycle to Paris in France and they want 100 members of the public to join them on the first leg of their trip, which will be a 100K cycle from Bray to Arklow and back again.
